Step 1: Slop weld a fire grate together.

Step 2: Build a Fire

Step 3: Make Meatloaf (in progress)

Had to add some wood and Flip the meatloaf. The bottom charred a bit.....Sho is Easier in a Smoker or a Grill with a Lid......

The Meatloaf is lil' Better when done in the Smoker.......Although it was cooked over a wood fire it didn't take much Smoke as it was on an open pit and I didn't cover the meatloaf.

Next time, use an aluminum pan to cover the the loaf. It will trap smoke to add flavor and help cook it from above. Will act like an oven kind of. I'd hit that. I'm digging those mashed taters.
