Default Barbecues Galore

Is closing their Norwalk, CT store at the end of October. Anyone who needs anything, everything in the store is at least 40% off already. Lots of good stuff. They will be missed here

If it is anything like what happened with Barbecue Galore in Florida, they are a victim of gross mis-management.

I doubt if Wally world has anything to do with it. They were in fredericksburg a few yrs back, but closed. High rent, but high exposure storefront. First time I saw a green egg was at their store. I imagine its hard to be open 7 days a week, long hrs with a motivated and knowledgable staff and only sell BBQ chit, without high ticket repeat business. Wally world sells low end stuff, and some fruit wood, but hell, how much markup is there in a 4 lb bag of chunks? Its a tough enviroment and management is flawed. IMHO

Me too--in Austin.

Kept my Platinum MaserCard in my pocket at that one.
Way over priced or too "high end" for a country boy.
