Birthday Chuckie!

They say it's my birthday....(da-da-da-da-da-da) I'm gonna cook a chuckie....(da-da-da-da-da-da)....

As I wait for the 18.5" WSM to lock into temp, I'm uploading photos for your approval:

We spent quite a few hours adding on this cooking area to our site.


But, THIS is what really matters!


Took a nap in Bovine Bold overnight.


Quick additional rubdown before placing on the cooker.

More to follow (I know I overdo the pics, but I LOVE this stuff - plus, nobody here will listen to me).

Trying something new today. Put 2 Grill Grates on the cooker. Experimenting with how the juices vaporize back to the meat.
