Default Tri-Tip with Kona Coast Rainbow Rub

A friend of mine in Florida sent me some Rub that he makes this Kona Rub is terrific

Rubbed and ready to go

Seared at 600* a side and on a raised grid at 350* for 15-min a side for internal temp. 122*

The Tri-Tip sliced up just right

Served with salad and smashed potatoes. Very tasty

Ross

I like brisket, I love a good steak, I like Dino Bones, I like roasts...

But a properly cooked Tri-tip to me is pure bovine eating heaven!

Looks GREAT Ross!

Happy Thanksgiving!

I'm certainly on-board with this...and tri-tips are less expensive than a good steak.

Very nice work Ross, looks amazing. Wish I could taste my computer!

Phubar, sometimes we are all at a loss for words & that tri-tip will certainly do it. You certainly have an excellent grasp of the language (evidence=smashed).
