What is the different between inside and outside skirt steak Is the cut similar. |

The outside is the skirt and the inside is the flank. I'm pretty sure that's right, but maybe someone who knows more of bovine butchery will chime in.

Skirt steak is the diaphragm muscle that contacts the ribs inside the chest cavity.Flank steak is the belly muscle on the outside.Kind of like what would be the abs on a human.

Flank steak for me is another cut. Maybe I am just confuse because butcher in Denmark cut a cow different than in the us |
