Default July 4th Tri-Tip on the Kettle with Pron

You know, when you have a good tri-tip, well you just want another. So, I found them on sale locally and had to go for it.

Seasoned with The Rub Company Original and Santa Maria Style. Then threw on some ground pepper.

Cooked about 350 for 45 minutes until the IT was 125.

Foiled it up for a couple minutes until I could get the grill hot enough for a little sear.

Probably left it on a minute or two too long.

Now that is how we do a 4th around here!!

thanks for looking.

I'm going to go cry in my lentils and sprouts now :(

They got a new product called Tofeef, it is fake tofu made from beef, I think you should try it.

Marty, I wish to do my first soon. Just found a shop that carries the cut.
Do you sear it first, then put it indirect till the 125?
