Moink Balls
I decided to do some "Moink balls" (and I use that description lightly) this weekend and also did some research to find out what the heck these moink balls are.
From various forums I have found out they are basically meatballs wrapped in bacon.
Hamburger = (moo) wrapped in bacon = (oink) for MOINK, I am not sure how true it is but it sounds good to me.
Later I discovered the creator is Larry at BBQ Grail who has an official MOINK page.

MOINKS can be made with frozen meatballs as the originals were. Some folks prefer making them from scratch.
I tried making them using JD Sausage, some were stuffed with Cheddar and some stuffed with pepper shooters, not sure if the cheddar stuffed ones are considered a "Moink ball", (officially no since I used ground pork) or if the peppershooter ones are closer to an "Armadillo Egg", some will call these Armadillo eggs but most recipes I have found for Armadillo eggs consist of a Jalapeno being wrapped in sausage and bacon (sounds a little like an ABT), so... for the sake of keeping this blog somewhat organized, I'll post it under Moink balls / Armadillo eggs until I can get this mess sorted out.
