Turtle Sauce Piquante
Here are some pics of a turtle sauce piquante that I cooked up this last summer. For those of you that have never had turtle meat, it is some of the best meat you will ever have.. Enjoy the pics

I first had Turtle Sauce Piquante about 40 years ago. Never had it since. Wish I had the opportunity to eat it again. It's wonderful!

I take it if I found a big 'ole snapping turtle I could just kill it and it'd be good to eat? Didn't know if there was certain things to look for on a turtle to make sure it would be good for meat. I know I check the liver and lungs on all animals that I kill personally. Deer, rabbit, etc. Would love to try turtle, I bet it's awesome. It's on my long meat list along with Nutria.
