bread on the egg
I made up a batch of Artisian bread in 5 minutes a day.
Was doing a batch of steaks for dinner and realized we had this dough in the fridge. This recipe is the The Master Recipe : Boule Bread. Very easy to do and is very tasty. I usually make a loaf with Jalapenos and cheese. Anyway, the bread took 35 minutes at 350 degrees on the egg. Sorry for the lack of pics, but with company it was all gone in no time.

Looks good! I have been playing around with breads on the egg for while now. I made some in a cast iron pot. It gave the bread a great crust looks cool. There are a few books out their outlining different methods. I have been using a book by Jim Lahey called My Bread. Easy and delicious.
