Not me. I'm going to make something warm and bubbly and make the house smell good. Unless the power goes out. Then I,ll be lighting up the grill.

I'm in the same boat. Grill is ready to go if the power goes out, but it would be mighty tough with the wind that is coming.

I braved the storm here in WI; did an overnight brisket in my UDS. Six inches of snow fell, and it was pretty windy.
Held 250 very steady, but come morning, the UDS had cooled down and I rushed the foiled brisket into the oven. So Close! Sorry, no PRON, maybe when I slice it later. |

Sam's is good, I go with my wife during the summer if I'm cooking for a crowd. If I'm just treating myself, I like to stop at Brown & Budnicks in Dracut. Also, a couple times of year Groupon runs $50 of meat for $25 at the meat house in Chelmsford. I usually order a couple of those and stock up. Still having trouble finding tri-tip though. Let me know if you see any!

I work in Toronto, and they think they're getting hammered. I live 3 hours drive north, and we have weather like this every few weeks.
Unfortunately, I'm working tonight, so I can't light up. When I'm home tomorrow and Sunday I'll que something, but by then the storm 'll be over. Good luck to all my northeastern brethren, cooking or just getting around on the roads! Be safe, Matt |
