What's the best way to control the temperature on longer cooks with the lid on? Is the bottom vent or top vent used more? Thanks for any suggestions.
leave your top vent open, and use the bottom vent to adjust temps
I cook on both One Touch and daisy wheel kettles and I find it much easier for me to work with the daisy vents on longer cooks where I can close off one or two vents if needed.
I have both types of kettles and will try the daisy vent one and will block off the other two and use foil where there's no charcoal on the bottom grate...
