Default Competition BBQ videos

Does anyone have a source for videos to learn from. I competed in my first backyard event and I am looking to improve my game before next year. Looking to do 2KCBS events next year and want to feel better about my product. Any ideas?

I'm sure almost all have pondered it, but once they found out just how easy it is to duplicate/pirate these that they saw just how badly it conflicted with their class/school. Plus, you cant ask a DVD a question. Also, some of is look and feel, you can't feel how the pork should feel through a DVD.

If you can't afford a class, I highly suggest trying to become a CBJ and judge a few. Trust me, there's nothing like learning the level of competition as you get from behind the judges chair.

My competition daze are probably behind me now; I pretty much cook for family, friends, and frankly the peace and solitude I get from smokin' on an offset...

I second the pickled pig tutorials. They really helped me get started.

Hey nieghbor north!. Most classes I've heard of and been to you don't have to bring a cooker. Just yourself and a note pad.
As far as some practice, we put on a cook every year geared to rookie teams to learn KCBS cooking and get feed back from certified judges. We do it for a minimal cost. It was $50 last year and that included your camp site for 2 nights, a tshirt, a saturday morning breakfast and a great gift bags for cooks.
Anyway, we would love to have ya.
Check out our website for infomation from last year. I'll be posting more about 2013 at the first of the year. Good luck.
