Today I tried a recipe that John Dawson posted back in June: http://www.patiodaddiobbq.com/2010/06/brown-sugar-bourbon-pork-skewers-dirty.html

I used a pork tenderloin instead of a center cut pork loin. Wow!!!

My wife, who isn't always as impressed with my cooking as I am, said, "Wow. Those were REALLY good. I would actually have you make them again." My daughters friend couldn't stop talking about them.

John.....you done good. They complex favors made for an enjoyable meal.

Thanks a ton, bro! That video could win an Academy Award for the worst first
cooking video in a backyard. It's funny, but mostly embarrassing to watch.

I know firsthand how hard it is for the folks on The Next Food Network Star.
The big difference is that I was the writer, producer, director, set decorator,
camera man, editor, stunt man, key grip, and everything else. Making that
was harder than Chinese algebra. :)

Just to contrast experience, check out this vid. McCormick contracted for
four videos, and this was the last. See the difference? It was over just as I
started to get the hang of it.
