We are proud to announce the up coming 3rd Annual Hay Capital BBQ Cook Off in Yates Center, Kansas on July 8th and 9th, 2011. If you haven't gotten a chance to cook in this contest you are missing a fun time. Check out our web site for all the details and see who has already signed up. Bring the family because the Mardi Grass Festival that our cook off is part of will keep everyone, young and old, busy. With the economy the way it is, our State Championship cookoff is still only $125 and includes, entry into all four meat categories, plus the dessert category, plus the Friday nights Cook's Choice contest, plus the blind judged People's Choice contest that includes free pork butts, plus free ice, not just a couple of bags, free water, free electric, live band Friday night, huge Friday night fireworks display, and we even provide showers for the cookers on Saturday morning. And cookers, don't forget about our Friday night midnight swim in the city swimming pool and free homemade ice cream.
