Default My UDS build 2/3 done!

Psyched! Here are the pics:

1-UGLY
2-DRUM
3-SMOKER

2 of 3= 66.6% done.

Ha!....anyway, I picked this baby up for free today. It originally held frozen lemon concentrate but was used as a scrap barrel in a machine shop most recently. Some grease and gunk on the bottom. The inside is painted but unlined. I think I should be able to knock out the dings ok enough and it seems pretty solid w/ little rust.

Plan is to have it cooking by Memorial Day using the wealth of knowledge from this place.

Looks like you have the dreaded tan liner.

It IS lined. The tan liner is the toughest of all liners to remove!

You could do much better by finding a drum that hasn't been beat to chit already.

Balls!

I thought that was just paint.

Hmmph. I'll return it.

Thanks for the warning.

Yeah man, I burned the chit outta two drums and it didn't come out. Luckily I was able to borrow a sandblaster. Not fun either. Do yourself a favor and find an unlined drum.
