Default Smokin' Some Beef Ribs (Pics)!

I stopped by the store to grab a shoulder for carnitas tacos for the staff today and they had a couple racks of beef ribs for a decent price (I paid $12 for the rack). I thought, why not?!?! I just gave them a light coat of canola oil and a light coating of Oakridge BBQ Black Ops Brisket Rub (no pic of this step).

So, in four photos, here you go...

On the top shelf, this is about 3 hours in on a 5 or 6 hour smoke (lost track):

Super tender and juicy!

Ribs in a row:

All stacked up:

So, that is that... Hope you enjoyed it!

This was actually my first time cooking with Black Ops (haven't done a brisket since we got the product) and I loved it! Great flavor, and it really helped put a nice thin but crispy bark on them. I'm going to shred some down and do beef rib tacos for lunch right now in fact!

Next up is Habanero Death Dust dry wings for tomorrow nights Halloween dinner!
