Default Spice Organization Nirvana

I've been dealing with the chaos that comes with owning a few dozen spices for a while now and I decided the time has come for Spice Organization Nirvana.

Enter the 6 oz Lock Ups.

They twist together to form a stack.

My island drawer can handle 5 in a stack and the top member of each stack is labeled with all members of the stack. Each stack contains related spices where possible. High volume spices remain in their large containers.

The most common spices get a place of honor on the counter in jars from Penzey's.

I have room for three more spices in the stacks before I have to start demotions to another location. So far it's working well.

Mike

Nice set up Mike, nothing like organization and the quantities of the spices we need sure are space hogs.

Mighty fancy & better than that mess of spices that we're gonna hopefully get organized in 2013.
