Finished product before the fights start!

Had a plate before pay per view fights start.

The marinade is fantastic but.......... they are definitely a mouth burner. The heat is definitely there, but you can taste the food. I forgot that as the marinade moisture cooks off that the spiciness will intensify. I think I will go with 1-2 habaneros instead of 3 next time. It was really close to being TOO spicy!

one habanero is enough for a couple gallons of hot chili I can't imagine 3 on 10 chicken legs!

Good Job...Nice Legs...

You can leave the peppers cut in half during the marinade process and then remove them for the cook...You can get the flavor with out too much burn...

I will keep that in mind if 1-2 habaneros is too hot the next time I give this a try.

I tihnk if my roommates don't eat the leftovers that there will be some chicken chili on the menu soon

The legs will continue to get hotter too...

I have a hard time using habanero...They just get to dang hot...I will substitute Serrano...they are still sweet but not too spicy...

Made these today. Let them marinade overnight. Very good, did a double batch with one habanero pepper per batch. Still had some serious kick. Might cut the cinnamon back a little though.
