I brined some cornish game hens in a mix of water, kosher salt, sugar, and red pepper flakes.

then placed some little smokie slices and butter under the skin...

rubbed them with more butter and sprinkled with Rooster Booster...

smoked in my drum with some rice.... the potatoes and onion were for another dish.

The Rooster Booster was awesome. I loved the flavor!

The skin was crisp and the meat was moist.

Good lookin use of Rooster Booster! I admit the cold has had me grilling less but it's warming outta the 10-20's here!

Great looking hen there Jeanie! When I read the title all I could think of was the ole Bruster the Rooster joke.

First pic rules.

Of course the finished pics are nice...but they didn't bring nearly the smile (or deep belly laugh) that the first one did.
