Kroger had em last year . wife bought 8, hope they go on sale again soon, finished the last 2 off in March, think they were $1.99lbs

I haven't seen them under $4 here for a long time. There will be instances where we they get to $3/lb and climb right up as soon as it get's to $3. On the bright side Costco Business is bringing in Wagyu briskets for $6.49/lb. I'm going to snatch on up soon.

Burleson HEB Plus restocked overnite - found a Nice 12 lb. Select but had to pay $2.96/lb.
 They used to only carry Choice and Prime - Now they have Select, Choice , Prime AND Wagyu. Fancy Folk must have moved to Burleson last few years.....  .

paid $50 for a prime brisket from Sam's club...I think it was 12 lbs, didn't even look at the weight. I've always found brisket to be a great value.
it served as the protein for 2 dinners and at least one midnight snack. we also made tacos that I got a dinner and snack out of. did I mention the pot of brisket chile the Mrs made, thats two more meals. there was a chunk of brisket left Saturday that I ended up tossing because it was getting old. $50 could have gotten me the meat portion of at least 7 dinners.

We sent some calves to the auction last week. They brought 2.20 per pound on the hoof. With these prices we won't see cheap beef in stores for a while.
