141F is good, it will eat fine. If you don't screw up the cutting part.

First go at the tri tip and...WOW. Love that piece of meat. I think i may have cut it wrong, but salvaged it on the eatin part.

The serving plate.

Sliced and ready...yeah, 141 was good

The fork shot...now if I can find a song to say inspired me to do this, I may enter the throwdown.

Awesome looking meal, right there.

I need to get a TP one of these days.

I do have some of that rub on the way, though. :)

Tri tip is easy to see when it's done. I've never checked the temp on mine. Maybe I have cooked enough to know.

Judging from the sticker on the box, you got one of the open stock specials. I bought one also. One of the fast yellow ones. Going try it out tomorrow on some pork belly bacon. Bought one for the girlfriend, too and it is pink so it will apparently be difficult to find.

That looks outstanding!

Your green Thermapen is almost as good as my teal one. It's gotta be a first cousin or something

Lovely looking tri tip there, but obviously your green Thermapen will be lagging a little behind the red ones...
