Kiln Dried vs. Seasoned?

IDK which is better, but I use all kiln dried hickory that is barn stored out of the weather. I get a good predictable burn, fuel consumption, great clean smoke and have not experienced anything like "oversmoke" some folks report with hickory. Next time I need to restock I'm gonna try 1/2 hickory and 1/2 pecan, still all kiln dried.
