Hi all been reading this form for some time not. And there is lots of good info. My question is I will be doing the local fair and I'm selling pork Sundays which is pulled pork mashed potatoes corn and gravey. I have checked my numbers and I have right at 1.10 in ever bowl. How much would you charge I was thinking some where around $6.00 not sure of that is good or not thanks for the input

I believe that the industry standard is cost X 3.

at least $6.00. Why not bbq beans and sauce?

You need to factor in the cost to be at the event. Some around here charge 25% of gross plus charge for space, electricity, water etc., that's why fair food is so expensive.

I would say $6. If the percentage above is on gross, that would leave you 3.40 ea after cost and payments for the fair and state. $5 or 5.50 may make you a bit more attractive to customers. It just depends on what others are selling things for
