Come up to beautfiul Northeast Missouri to take part in Truman State Bulldog’s inaugural Kansas City Barbeque Society (KCBS) sanctioned Barbeque Competition that will take place in Kirksville, Missouri on Saturday, September 8th, 2012. Bulldog, BBQ, & Blues: The Smoke at Stokes barbeque event includes an official sanctioned barbeque competition, live blues music, and a tailgate party to celebrate Truman State University Bulldog’s first home football game against the Lincoln University Tigers at 7pm. Our event includes all four meat categories and is a State Championship. The entry fee is $150 (includes lot, limited electricity, and ice.) KCBS rules and regulations apply. Water will be available from a central location. The event will be on the Truman State University campus near Stokes Stadium.
