Default Old school again

Got a shrimp creole stuffed chicken and 2 crab meat stuffed potatoes and no kamado where I'm at so pull out the old Cajun Grill and the chimney and fill it with lump.

Set the side vents at 380. Direction say 275 for an hour covered then 1/2 hour uncovered. We'll see.

Thanks! It was really tasty. Last time I did one on my Big Joe. This was just as good.

Yes there are! This is actually our weekend house on the river. I use to have a KJ classic there but I moved it for the last flood and haven't brought it back yet. This grill is about 20 years old and has been through at least 5 floods. I just pressure wash it, let it dry out and run a batch of lump through it and it's up and running again.

Love the simplicity and toughness of that cooker. Its a survivor and a keeper, you do it proud.
