Default Bacon Biscuits and Sausage Gravy

Again... lol
One of my favorite breakfasts while camping.

Started my fire in the tractor rim...

browned some sausage while the logs were burning down..

made my gravy...

made a batch of biscuits...

slathered with bacon drippin's and sprinkled with crisp fried bacon..

Rolled and sliced..

plopped on top of the gravy and back to the tractor rim...

scooted the fire to the sides, shoveled a few hot coals on top and let er go...

I had my eye on the one in the center...

Scooped it up, added fruit and breakfast was ready..

Sorry for so many pics again, but thanks for looking!

One of the few times that I actually get angry because I can't have what is in the pictures. Excellent.

Thanks! The biscuits are good leftover. I like to wrap one up and take it with me for lunch while fishing.

Amen, Jeanie! I can nearly taste that from here (and it would sure be good this evening)!

Hope you've hooked a couple and continue to enjoy your camping escape.

Thanks Shadow! The fishing was pretty good.
Hope the cold front hasn't hit your area!

Sunday... perhaps Monday/Tuesday (WX Guessers can't quite make up their minds)! Perhaps 1+ inches of snow on Mon/Tues (if Mother Nature continues her drinking binge)!

Y'all be safe over there!

I feel like you'd be awfully successful running a vacation ranch with cooking lessons. At least, I'd want to go.

Biscuits and gravy is something I haven't done. Not sure I ever want to try Neighbor. I think I wouldn't even come half as good.

Amazing as usual!!
