Default Atomic Raspberries

I've been looking for a reason to make an ABT and along comes this great idea for a berry TD.

Jalapenos, bacon, raspberries, cream cheese, bbq sauce - winning

I started by making my raspberry cream cheese filling.

I let that all chill overnight and then cleaned up my jalapenos

And added my filling

Then finished stuffing with some happy little berries

Then the bacon

On to the grill and finish with some raspberry and Big Butz

and on to the plate

This was my perfect food.

Thanks for looking

Looks awesome, and how did they taste? The combo sounds good. Raspberries seem like they would make a great sweet for the heat.

Wow, too bad there isn't a throwdown going on featuring berries. That would be a contender.

Well since you ask - they were really farking good. I've made these before but I've never raspberried them up like this. This will be the way I make them from now on.

Hard to conceptualise the taste. Clearly a great chilli hit that is possibly softened by the sweetness of the raspberry cream cheese filling. But also one of my favourite foods "bacon" to give a salty smokey edge.
WOW.
