Been cold here in Iowa for the last week too. Sucks when you want to smoke something this weekend and you will literally get frost bite! -11 below this morning here. Bring on Spring!

I have been known to go out of my way to cook on the coldest days. I have to admit, I might think twice about it at those temps.

I'm with Chris. The colder the temp, the more I want to fight the elements!

Chris,

Make that 3 of us... I did 2 briskets yesterday in the BWS. Sat on the ice cold deck (wearing shorts, no less) and cleaned the BWS, in prep. I'm certain, my neighbors think I'm outta my mind.

Maybe I am! ;)

It was 17 above here this morning and I thought that was cold. Geez! I cooked a chuckie on the Egg yesterday in 25* temp and my neighbors thought I was nuts.

Aren't you the brother who commented on one of my threads I started about being out at 2 am using your weed burner?

You know, I have this "Ghost Busters" visual in my head, and I've smiled several times thinking about your post, since then.

You're alright, brother!

It is 17 here, "feels like" 1. I guess I can't complain. Like the crunchy snow anyhow. Doing a few chuckies. I may post some pics later. Unless my lens freezes.
