Took the class last year and it was excellent. They answered every question in depth. I would recommend this class to anyone wanting to get serious about competition BBQ.
I had a great time, just make sure to get fuel on interstate 80

Scottie you teach an excellent class (not that you need a scrub like me to tell you that). And I appreciated your sharing your own story with the participants. I suspect that's where about 99.9% of the community stands.

Oh and are you going to sacrifice one of your chickens for the class? That alone could be worth the price of admission.

This might put you over the edge on that jambo purchase. :)

You will have a blast. The facilities are perfect for a class and scottie and his family will treat you very well.

I can't say enough about this class. Scottie, Mike and Scottie's family go all out to make this work. They love BBQ, hate cancer, and have found a way to address both. I had such a good time I am tempted to take it again!

Mod Note:

Competition is an ON TOPIC forum. I've cleaned up a bunch of off topic stuff in this thread (and a couple of posts that were collateral damage since they quoted the OT posts). Keep this thread on topic and civil going forward.

We only have a few seats left for the class if you are on the fence for coming. Just finished off the dinner and breakfast menu and the students will be eating good again.

Looking forward to the class and giving out some information and raising g a bunch of money to help fight cancer.

I couldn't be more excited that a class like this, taught by two great q'ers, is being offered a stones throw away from home. Wouldn't miss it.

We are officially sold out. If you want to send me a message, we *may* have an opening.

Thanks to all that will be coming. Looking forward to a fun class and an awesome fundraiser to help fight cancer.
