Default maverick thermometer question??

i have a maverick et-732 i was wondering has anyone ever tried getting second food probe using the bbq/grill sensor slot for a second piece of meat???

The probes are interchangeable so it should be fine.

ok cuz i was planing on building my very first u.d.s. and it just dawned on me and i tried to look it up and couldn't find anything figured if my u.d.s. has a good thermometer built in and i have lets say 2 butts going i would hope not to have to buy another et732 to moniter both butts

Yes as "gooniegoogoo" stated, the probes are interchangeable, you just have to check to see if you can set a lower temperature on the "PIT" setting of the thermometer.

Sounds like you have a good plan...

It will be fine...I have 2 units and will use one with 2 pit probes or 2 meat probes...depends on what I want to keep track of and if I only wnat to pull out one unit...If its chicken or ribs they don't need constant watching...the Hi and Low alarms can be disabled...You'll be fine..
