The FEC is here! The truck dropped it off at about 6pm. I uncrated it and I'm looking at the manual now. I'm planning on cooking a couple of butts and a couple of fatties tomorrow.

I've never seen the insides of the FEC, they are always cooking! Does it have a drip pan and do you foil the bottom like the 008?

Yes, and yes. The catering pan sitting on the shelf is the drip pan. It slides under the cook box. Most owners foil the bottom, the heat shield (sitting on the bottom shelf in the pic, and a couple of other spots.
