Default Kefta Kabobs & Tabouli

I love Mediterranean food, especially Lebanese. Had some ground lamb in the freezer and some sirloin steaks. Grounded up the sirloin and mixed it with the lamb for kefta kabobs. Got the Kamado Joe fired up and went to work.

Kefta ingredients

Tabouli ingredients

This meal was super delicious and very easy to do.

The Tabouli is very easy to make. The bulgar needs to be soaked in water for at least half an hour. Remove the bulgar from the water then combine with all the ingredients.

3 cups chopped parsley
2 cups diced tomatoes
1 cup chopped mint leaves
1 cup chopped green onion
1 cup chopped onion
1/2 cup bulgar
1 tsp dry mint
1 tsp kosher salt
1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
1/2 cup lemon juice
1/2 cup extra virgin olive oil

Here are the ingredients for the Kefta kabobs.
1lb of ground beef (85/15)
1lb of ground lamb
2 tsp paprika
1 tsp ground coriander
1 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp kosher salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
1/2 tsp cumin
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
1/4 cup of freshly chopped parsley
1/4 cup of freshly chopped mint
