Please accept this as my entry to the throwdown.

There is nothing better on a cold, snowy day than cooking a burger on the grill and then smothering it with chili& cheese on a toasted bun.

Went a little outside the box this time. Instead of making a favorite meal, I made a meal out of my family's favorite foods!

Here is one of my favorite cuts of Beef

Flat Iron - This is an SRF that has great marbling. Used to buy these all the time before they were popular and they were cheap. MSD worked at Kroger' and would buy them up when marked down.

Now we have to pay more but they are a great cut of steak with great flavor.

Cool Porterhouse / Board Dressing

Ever since I read Charred and Scruffed I have been in love with board dressings. The simple act of letting the meat mix with the oil and fresh herbs and maybe some lemon zest is a real game-changer.

Our favorite is surf and turf, Ribeyes in particular, with either lobster or shrimp. Made this for Valentines Day / the wife’s birthday. Ribeye, spicy garlic shrimp, shrooms and onions all grilled on the WSCG.

My love for pizza is beyond measure. When I was a child I always wanted to be a "pizza man". Now that I am older, I still want to be a pizza man, especially cooking it on the grill.

These were cooked directly on the cooking grate of my classic Weber kettle, using B & B Charcoal.

Grill fried chicken is probably one of my favorite things. I used to love KFC growing up and I like this a lot more. And it is super easy!

Just noticed this TD category. Didn't plan to enter but what the heck. Pizza is right up there as my favorite food and I cooked a few last weekend.
