Just bought a 22.5" WSM through the affiliate link
I have really enjoyed my OTG 22.5" Kettle over the 12 or so years I have had it. I added the Smokenator a few years back to see if I would enjoy smoking. Well, I suppose it served it purpose as I have smoked Boston butts, whole chickens, wings, legs, and baby back ribs. The big negative about having a nice easy cleaning grill setup to smoke all day is that you can't grill for a Saturday lunch. I went back and forth on smoker size and finally pulled the trigger on the 22.5" Smokey Mountain. Soon I will be able to smoke on a dedicated smoker while my OTG goes back to grilling duty. I am experimenting with different rubs and homemade bbq sauces. This year is going to kick ass!!

You will like your WSM. I have two of them, an 18.5" and a 22.5". They are great.

Good choice on the 22. I've got an 18" and while I love it and it has plenty of capacity (I've fed over 50 people with it one weekend) a larger grate would be nice. A full rack of ribs just barely fits.

Love my 22 wsm. Can do raised direct similar to a drum, dry or moist indirect, and can grill on it by taking the middle out and placing the grill grate on top of the charcoal ring. Very portable and love it.

Seeing that makes me feel like I made the best choice for me. My wife and sister-in-law do not eat red meat or pork. So I will need to position ribs, brisket or pork so it will not drip on the chickens. I may have to load the left side of the top rack and the right side of the bottom or something like that.

Congrats! Love mine, works great out of the box. I splurged on a Guru for my bday a few years ago and that's the #1 "mod" I'd suggest, but there are tons of ideas on this site.
