This is the one our family uses and we really like it.
1 lb ground beef
1 lb ground pork
1 lb Graziano italian sausage (or whatever the best local italian sausage you can find)
2 eggs, beaten
1 cup italian seasonsed bread crumbs
1/3 Heinz 57 sauce
Beat eggs and mix with Heinz 57 sauce. Then mix meat into mixture with hand. Once everything is mixed pretty good, add bread crumbs and mix. Make into balls.
Bake at 350 for about 25 minutes. I made this the other day and I put them in 9x13 pans and had about 24 in one pan and about 12 in the other pan.
They freeze well also.
