Default Goetta Sausage

Was going to smoke this type of sausage this morning. Doesn anyone know if it would be the same as how you smoke reg. sausage or has anyone ever smoked Goetta before?

I've never had it, but since it is a fresh sausage, like JD's, I think that I would smoke it just like a fatty. Let us now the outcome.

have eaten goetta my whole life and make it but never made it into sausage or smoked it. It origanated from the side of Cincy i am from and aways made into loaf pan and then fried in bacongrease-slices of it. The sausage came about with the goetta fests that we have hear and they cook it like hotdogs or on flat top and place it in a bun.

There were a few Goetta discussions earlier this year on the forum...
