For Mother's Day lunch, I had the fortunate pleasure to grill some New York Strips for some beautiful mothers! While it was challenging, I had a blast and everything came out wonderful.

My crowd had the following temperature preference:
  • medium-rare
  • medium
  • medium-well
  • cremated
I packed up my eggs last night, then drove to my in-laws and set up another uncomfortable egg center.

The meat!

Getting my sear on!

Roasting time!

I pulled off each steak about 5 degrees below my target temp and topped each steak with garlic butter slices during their rest. My favorite cook to date!

The proof is in the pudding

Happy Happy Mothers I bet

 Yeah to all the Mothers and the Cook who mastered it!

Looks awesome! What is below your handle in the black and white photo?

Perfectly cooked steaks to order.

I assumed everybody was pleased?

That looks amazing! I'm sure there were some happy mama's after that meal.

For sure! My in-laws don't eat steak at regular steak houses any more since they're usually disappointed. Lol

I saw a ton of clean plates and received numerous compliments.

Thanks for the looking guys! Don't know why I stopped posting, but hopefully my two threads this weekend made up for lost time. Lol

Looks great. You are in my neck of the woods. I need to come take some lessons from you.
