Not to open old wounds but...Has anyone on here ordered Wagyu Brisket? I live in NH and their just isnt anyplace around me to go to to buys some. I am trying to find an online place to ship me on any ideas?

I have made quite a few of them, and still buy them now and then. They are very good. Pricey, but good. They cook very fast, no stall.

Oops, my bad, you were looking for a place to order them. I get them locally.

I got one through Trucky1008 who has a plug in Iowa. PM Trucky1008 and he should email the info. I think we paid 4.80 - ish a pound.

I'm not sure if they ship, but I bought Wagyu brisket at www.majinolameats.com

Although the brisket did turn out nice and tender, it wasn't appreciably better than the choice briskets I've been buying. I'll probably stick with choice.

I got all my wagyu briskets last year from Paradise for under $4/lb. They did pretty good in contests. This year I just loaded up on prime for $2.29/lb at a local HyVee.

If you are interested I did a side by side cook with waygu and choice briskets. One of the businesses mentioned in this thread provided the waygus. You can look at the photos and gain an appreciation for how good a lot of the choice briskets are compared to waygu.

I have never bought a bad piece of beef from these guys. I got a brisket there last week and paid 2.50lb. The place in the farmers market sells them for 50 cents less, but that extra 50 cents is worth a fairway cut. Fairway provides a lot of beef and pork to the best steakhouses in the area.

Their briskets are Excel brand.

Am i missing it or do they not have an online ordering system? they have both the beeef and berekshire pork i want but Michigan is a bit of a haul.

I noticed the change in their website and they did not have online ordering now. You may have to just call them, but next time I am there I will ask if they still take phone or online orders. They added a sign up so I wasn't sure if you have to create an account to order now.

Prime prime rib for about 6 bucks a pound is an indicator of their pricing, so I typically go there every Friday. My daughter was home from college for the weekend though and her and my son had cooking plans for both nights.
