This dish requries a prep, time of 20 minutes and bakes in one hour at 350*.
Provided you already have the smoked chicken smoked and ready.

First start with the following ingredients.
scpp001.jpg

In a large mixing bowl, open the soup and mix veggies
only draining the water from one can of veggie.
Pour all this into the mixing bowl and throughly mix.
scpp002.jpg

Add smoked chicken and mix well.
scpp003.jpg

Then take casserole dish and two of the pie crust and do as follows.
scpp004.jpg

Cut pie crust to fit dish like so.
scpp006.jpg

Pour in your mixture of pure goodness like so and sprinkle the
top with the dried minced onion.
scpp008.jpg

Take the remaining two pie crust and cut and form to make your top like so.
scpp009.jpg

Bake at 350* for one hour or until golden brown.
I also just turn on the broil element after an hour to brown.
Everything in the dish is already cooked anyway.

When done if you can let it stand for 15 minutes to cool before eating.
Then serve yourself up a hungry man size plate and enjoy.

After enjoying.

Then me being a real hungry man I enjoyed some more.:icon_blush:

Good lookin' eats there. Musta tasted pretty good the way that TWO plates got eaten :-D.

Great looking pie. I make one very similar, but I use one can cream of chicken, and one cam of celery.

Awesome Jacob.
I could go for some of that. Making a mental note.

Thanks for the easy recipe. Will have to try that very soon as my wife loves chicken pot pie and I was dumb enough to show her your post. Next thing I know she says Iwant that soon:icon_bigsmil

Sounds like a great thing to do with the leftovers! I usually make chicken pot pie after roast chicken night with mashed potatoes and gravy. I make extra chicken gravy and save the gravy to use in the pot pie the next day. I wonder if somehow I can do this with a smoked chicken? Probbably not. Drippings in the smoker probably wouldn't make a good gravy. I've still got to try this though.

You could even do this with leftover Brisket too. But what would you usae instead of cream of chicken ???

Jules

Cream of mushroom I suppose.

I think some pot pies are in my future.
