all this seems to confirm the rumor I posted that demolition and storm debris are used to make charcoal in the earlier post.

Concrete and asphalt..... Wow

I've used two or three bags and had a half a golf ball sized piece of concrete in the last.

Although it's a drag when they make it into the bag.... insulation, asphalt or concrete are from the kiln and somehow passed through the sorting station.
