Sams Club Jackson TN

Good question...
The rule says each regional is 30 teams.
2. All local contests are limited to 30 teams and registration will be on a first-come basis. Regional contests are limited to 30 teams; and the National Championship will be limited to 50 teams.

These are the teams listed for the Regional and their overall total scores; sorry, don't have Baton Rouge scores. Yazoo Delta Q qualified in two contests (Baton Rouge and Memphis) for the regional; don't know if that may have anything to do with having 31 instead of 30. Seems like with 5 local contests there would have been 6 from each to make 30.

So Swiggin Pig got in because Yazoo had already quilified at a previous event. I get that. But why would they go back and include the 7th place team from the previous contest? Doesn't make sense to me. It's not a big deal, it's just curious, that's all.
