We bred Hereford with Brama here in S. Florida because the Brama can take our heat.Brafords.

I would invest in a chest freezer to hold some of that so you dont burn it up!
Yup, the butcher flash froze everything at -10 for 24 hours. Are upright freezers with the coils in the shelves bad for this kind of storage? It's in a dry cool basement and we usually only open it every week or two to restock the upstairs freezer.....

Freezer needs air movement to run properly. I'd hurry up and eat some and that will ease your problem! ;)

Love the pic! A man can cook up some great grub with a freezer like that and a Weber kettle or two!

I always thought that was the ones with circulation fans like the freezer/ fridge combo in my kitchen. My meat freezer doesn't have a fan, just the coils in the shelves, but I guess the lack of airspace could keep the average temperature from circulating and making its way to the thermostat anyway. I'd better just eat a farkload of beef asap just to be on the safe side!

I expected to see a few full shopping bags not an entire freezer full of Meat.
WOW...... Enjoy your cooking times over the winter and beyond.

It's also great to read about families taking care of each other.

My brother in law manages a massive hog farm that ships multiple semi loads of finished animals to slaughter per week. I want to say the head count is over a thousand per week. Unfortunately, having grown up on a beef farm, my wife never developed a taste for pork. I'm training her on it though, right now there's 3 shoulders on the bottom rack of my smoker and two brisket flats and a sirloin tip roast that I corned all week from our beef being smoked into pastrami. I like my pastrami on the peppery side, so it looks like my better half may be stuck with with pulled pork for supper since she doesn't do spicy!
