So after our first comp this weekend we came home with a boat load of extra food and have been tring to come up with "creative ways" of getting rid of it heres what we have so far. What do you guys do?

The pictures are poor not even close to Ricks but its what I got

CHICKEN FRIED BRISKET (MY IDEA)

AND

PULLED PORK STUFFED PEPPERS (PIT MAMA'S IDEA)

The options are endless. While still at the comp try to give it away to the dwindling crowd. Give some to your neighbors. Freeze some. Got a dog?
It's getting cooler, make some chili. The two ideas you had pics of looked good too!

Man, chicken fried brisky... now that's awesome!

What I do with my leftovers... and I make sure I have leftovers... is feed the folks who sponsored me... usually people at my workplace. I'll throw out a big spread at lunchtime the Monday after a comp, light the place up with BBQ aromas, and folks come runnin'. If they are not a sponsor, then they become a contributor by throwing some cash in the box.

It helps...

At first, I was giving it away, and it got EXPENSIVE, not to mention aggrivating when the moochers showed up and hauled away plates full of grub! Then I got smart(er) and started rounding up sponsors, insuring that for their donation, they will be fed. Real good. The others... well, I had to put out a donation bucket.

If you know that you are going to have more than what you need and it's a two day comp, give some to the guy that empties the trash containers.

Your trash will never overflow and you will have a friend for life. It's not a glorious job, but one that is much needed (especially in the summer) and the guys and gals that do the cleanup don't get much recognition.

I always sell it or give it away before I clean up. I don't take anything home. I used to back when I first started.
