Default Anyone Ever Tried a A-MAZE-N-TUBE-SMOKER?

I have a Traeger and don't get a lot of that delicious smoke taste. One day soon I will upgrade to something else but for now that isn't an option.

I have heard that the A-MAZE-N-TUBE-SMOKER gives it a lot more smokey taste that is consistent with a stick burner or something else. Can anyone share their experience if they tried it?

I'd call Todd the owner and ask his opinion because it comes down to airflow, also in a hot environment it'll burn pretty quick. I know people that have Traegers and put on Smoke Daddy's. They are more expensive but pretty nice and put out really good smoke because it is it's own little fire pot on the outside of your grill and then blows the cool smoke into your smoker.

I've got a 18" tube that I use in my Smokin Brothers Pellet Grill and it works great. Just fill it with pellets light one end and set it to the back of the grill. It will burn 3 or 4 hrs and put out plenty of smoke. Hope this helps

It's an external smoke generator, i have one hooked up to a mini smoke house for cold smoking but they can be hooked up to any grill or pellet smoker. There's lots of benefits of having a outside one such as a hotter fire for better smoke, you don't have to worry about air flow because its on the outside, your choice of fuels (lump and wood chips the best imo)

Google is your friend………….

I have a Large Daddy and use it all the time on my Mini WMS, to smoke salmon, cheese and spices. They work really well.

Do you ever use it to add smoky flavor to meat? I mean the traeger just isn't great about giving that smoke flavor.

I like my AMNTS but every time I get it near a heat source, the pellets die out. No clue as to why. I use it solely for cold smoking now because of it.

I don't have the tube smoker, but I have the 5"X8" A-Maze-N Pellet smoker. I can use it without heat and get about a 10 hour burn, or if I put it inside a 250° smoker I get about a 5 hour burn.

I like to use it for adding more smoke flavor by cold smoking (no heat) my bacon, sausage, and hams for hours, before applying any heat to reach a finish temperature of the meat.
