Default Tri Tip Pron

Only one shot battery went dead sorry.

I cooked it indirect until 115 internal.

Reverse sear and let rest tented in foil.

Came out a nice rare to med rare on the ends.

I still prefer brisket by far but this was good.

That tri tip looks delicious. Sure wish we could get it around here.

I am doing one this weekend for the first time. Any suggestions? (never done one)

Very nice but I can't imagine how you could prefer brisket unless you had a bad tri-tip. One of the tastiest cuts of meat, IMO. :)

Maybe so I got it at Fresh and Easy and not from a butcher.
