NC BBQ Competitions

Hey guys. I'm 44 and married with 2 sons. I live near Kenly, NC (Eastern NC) and have been bbq'ing for 20 plus years, but never have entered a competition. I was wanting to see if anyone in NC could use an extra hand at an event for me to get the feel of what to expect in a competetive atmosphere. I'm not looking for secret sauces or anything like that, but just want to help someone out at an upcoming event, ask questions, etc. If anyone is willing to do this for me, just post here or send a PM and I can give you my contact info.
