I was asked to cook for a wedding. They would like two meats pulled pork and chicken along with four sides. All I will be doing is cooking and delivering the food. They are serving and providing everything else for the dinner. Any advice on how to charge? The size of the party is 180 people.

Calculate your total costs. Total costs includes meats (this depends on the size of serving they have contracted for ), sides ingredients, rubs, sauce, pit fuel, round trip transportation costs, consumables costs (foil pans, paper plates, utensils, etc), any misc costs specific to this cook/delivery. Take this total time a minimum of 3. It is not unusual to even take it times 4 these days. The "Times 3" method is designed to cover your costs (part 1) and you own labor (part 2) and your overhead (part 3) [overhead being insurance, licenses, fees, etc].

I'd be at $12-14pp range but what he said above it your answer.
