Default Breaking in the new Akorn

Couldn't wait any longer, had to break it in with a couple thick cut boneless chops with a bit of McKormickd Applewood rub on it, had already taken off the 'taters when I decided to snap a pic.
Also in my euphoric stat over cooking on a new grill, I forgot the rule of mitts,...when turning the meat I grapped the temp probe by hand... getting away with 2 band-aids serve as a great reminder, always wear protective mitts/gloves.

Who hasn't done it? It's part of the seasoning process.
