Default Texas Pit opinions

Hello everyone, I'm about ready to upgrade to a stick burner offset and would love some reviews on Texas pit makers. I'm in Dallas but willing to drive to pick up anywhere in the state. So far I've looked at Klose, JJ, Gator and Jambo. I'm trying to decide between a sub-$1500 backyard smoker and a sub-$3.5k trailer. I normally cook for my family and a few other families and would like the mobile ability if possible, but its not needed just yet.

Does anyone have opinions, links to reviews, past posts that I missed or other suggestions?

Appreciated in advance! Next beer/brisket is on me.

Have you looked at Lyfe Tyme Pits( Uvalde, TX) ? HEB and Magnum Custom Trailers sell them in the Austin area ? Also Tejas pits from Houston are worth a look too.
