Default Southern cali wind

So I am on my way to Mira Loma 22.5 WSM in tow going to smoke some baby backs the wind is howling question is how do the So Cal brethren work with the Santa Ana's and is any one else having this problem right now The Smoke must go on!

Cut the box it came in into four pieces and add "extenders" (pieces of cardboard) so that there is room around the smoker.
